Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable comparatively thin but still a thick and hard material to be finely cut off obliquely at its side end section by providing one appropriately inclined blade section with a cutting blade material, and concurrently providing the other appropriately inclined blade section with a chopping material formed with a step section against which the knife edge section of the cutting blade material abuts.
CONSTITUTION: A cutting blade material 4 is attached to one blade section out of mutually opposite blade sections 1 and 2 which are rotatably pivoted in such a way as to be intersected with each other at a pivot section, and a chopping material 6 made of a synthetic resin or aluminum die-cast is inserted into the other blade section 2. A step section 7 is formed at a section against which the cutting blade surface of the cutting blade material 4 abuts, and an inclined surface 8 is formed, which is continued from the step section 7 up to an upper surface section. Each of blade sections 1 and 2 is integrally provided with each shank section 10, and a spring 11 is interposed between the upper end sections of the shank sections 10. Besides, a tool material 12 intergrally provided with a driver 13 is detachably inserted in the lower end section of each of shanks 10 and 10, and when it is not in use the cutting tool is to be stored in an inserted state.
