Abstract:
The application relates to a milling tool having a front head (1) and a rear holder (2), which are detachably connected by means of a male/female coupling as well as a screw (16) and a washer (18). Via a main duct (20), cooling liquid is fed to a chamber (7), from which it is fed out via branch ducts (11) to individual milling inserts (5). The front chamber (7) is closed by means of a cover (21) that is held applied against a ring surface (10) surrounding the chamber (7). According to the application, the cover (21) is tightenable by means of a threaded joint (25, 26) that is operative independently of a threaded joint (19a, 19b) between the screw and a front section of the main duct (20).
