Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform various cutting works without increasing the size of the whole of a device.
CONSTITUTION: A cutting work device is provided with a rotatable turret 22 having a plurality of stations to hold a cutting tool and a cutting-off tool and rotatable and elevatable spindle 24 to chuck the cutting tool and the cutting-off tool. The cutting work device is further provided with a photo sensor 38 to detect breakage of the cutting tool and a control unit to drive and control the turret 22 and the spindle 24 according to the detected result of the photo sensor.
