Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting work machine capable of reducing deterioration of work environment by reducing noises such as a metallic sound during idling of a circular saw blade without being associated with geometric change to the circular saw blade.SOLUTION: A cutting work machine 10 fitted with a circular saw blade 1 includes a cover 5 for covering the circular saw blade 1 by facing both axial surfaces of the circular saw blade 1, and a diffuser 20 that diffuses idling noises of the circular saw blade 1 onto one inner surface or both opposed inner surfaces of the cover 5. The diffuser 20 assumes a shape in which a member having its thickness gradually varied in a position corresponding to a tooth row of the circular saw blade 1 is attached or in which a distance between both the opposed inner surfaces of the cover is gradually varied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
