Abstract:
To obtain a new compound having inhibiting action on binding of kemokine MCP-1 and/or MIP-1α to a target cell and useful as a treating and preventing medicine for epidemic concerning infiltration to tissue of blood monosite, lymphocyte, etc.
This compound is represented by formula I [ R1 and R2 are each H, a halogen, a 1-3C alkyl or a 1-3C alkoxy; (j) is 1-3; (k) is 1 or 2; R3 is A1-R4 [A1 is (CH2)n, etc.; (n) is 0-3; R4 is a substitutable phenyl], or its acid addition product, e.g. 1-(3,3-diphenylpropyl)-4-(4-nitrobenzyl)homopiperazine. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a cyclic diamine derivative of formula II with a compound of the formula X-R3 (X is a halogen, an alkylsulfonyloxy, etc.). The compound is effective against atheromatous arteriosclerosis, chronic rheumatic arthritis, psoriasis, arthrosis deformans, asthma, ulcerative colitis, glomerular nephritis, I type diabetes mellitus, multiple sclerosis, pulmonary fibrosis, hepatitis, etc.
