Abstract:
To provide a new cyclic ether compound-decomposing microorganism capable of decomposing cyclic ether compounds such as 1,4-dioxane and its analogous compounds, and a method for decomposing the cyclic ether compound by using the microorganism and/or a material originated from the microorganism.
This cyclic ether compound-decomposing microorganism has a function of decomposing a cyclic ether compound and belongs to the genus Mycobacterium. Also, a method for decomposing the cyclic ether compound involves using the microorganism and/or a material originated from the microorganism belonging to the genus Mycobacterium.
