Abstract:
To provide a cyclic olefin polymer solution adaptable to solution casting process capable of easy control of thickness with high productivity, and to provide a cyclic olefin polymer sheet/film having excellent characteristics such as moisture-proof, easy tearing, easy opening and easy incinerating.
The cyclic olefin polymer solution comprises at least one cyclic olefin polymer of specific structure dissolved in a solvent which is filtered using a filter-aid with average particle size (median diameter) of 100 μm or less. The cyclic olefin polymer film/sheet is obtained by the solution casting process using the cyclic olefin polymer solution.
