Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve antifoaming property of an aqueous solution of an emulsifier-containing polymer by containing (α-)cyclodextrin as an antifoaming additive.

CONSTITUTION: (α-)cyclodextrin is added as an antifoaming agent to a aqueous polymer dispersion solution which contains an emulsifier of a (non)ionic surfactant, wherein a content of (α-)cyclodextrin is 0.5-1 wt.% based on the weight of the polymer.
