NEW MATERIAL:A compound composed of cyclohexane tricarboxylic acid having equatorial configuration of three CH3 in cyclohexane ring and axial configuration of three COOH in which at least one of the COOH is substituted with 10-22C long chain alkyl or derivative thereof.
EXAMPLE: A compound expressed by formula V.
USE: Used as a functional thin film, sensor for organic substance or reaction catalyst, etc. The functional thin film containing a molecular space by single molecule or structuring molecules having a selectivity of high density or high sensitivity is obtained by film forming with LB method or cast method. The film is able to be fixed on the surface of solid by physical adsorption or chemical adsorption.
PREPARATION: Cyclohexane tricarboxylic acid expressed by formula I is reacted with SOCl2 to obtain a compound expressed by formula II and said compound is reacted with amine expressed by the formula R-NH2 to obtain a compound expressed by formula III, then resultant compound is reacted with NaHCO3 to afford a novel compound expressed by formula IV, etc.
