Abstract:

To provide a resin composition which shows a good curability without adding a curing accelerator, yields a colorless, transparent cured product showing little discoloration under high-temperature conditions and is suitably used as a sealing material for an opto-electrical transducer such as blue LED and white LED, and a curing agent suitably used for the resin composition.

A cyclohexanetricarboxylic acid monoester is provided. The thermosetting resin composition comprises an epoxy group-containing compound and a curing agent. Here, the curing agent is the cyclohexanetricarboxylic acid monoester. A resin cured product is obtained by curing the thermosetting resin composition.
