To provide a cyclone separator for removing atomized coating material, and an atomized coating material-removing device, capable of removing atomized coating material included in air discharged from a coating chamber using a centrifugal force, and capable of also reducing labor of maintenance.
According to an atomized coating material-removing device 50 of the present invention, a water screen is formed on an inner peripheral surface of an outer cylindrical body 61 using a centrifugal force generated by swirling air including the atomized coating material along the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylindrical body 61 together with water, and the air is contacted with the water screen, and since the atomized coating material included in the air is absorbed in the water, clinging of the atomized coating material to the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylindrical body 61 can be prevented. That is, the atomized coating material included in the air discharged from the coating chamber 30 can be removed using the centrifugal force, and the labor of maintenance of the cyclone separator 60 can be reduced.
