PURPOSE: To contrive to achieve the exhaustion under safe and harmless condition by a method wherein an air quantity less than a theoretically necessary air quantity for burning is supplied through an air supply port, an industrial furnace is provided with a secondary air supply port, also a cyclone furnace is provided with a slag baffle and an oxidation processing vessel.
CONSTITUTION: A primary air supply port 5 is provided at the upper part of the outer periphery of a cyclone furnace 2, the air supply quantity of a primary air 7 less than a theoretically necessary air quantity for burning is supplied per unit time for the coal supply quantity per unit time. In an industrial furnace 1, a secondary air supply port 12 is arranged at the location sufficiently separated upward from a communicating through port 13 of the cyclone furnace 2, an oxidation processing vessel 14 is installed at the bottom part of the cyclone furnace 2, a slag inflow port 15 formed at the upper end of the vessel 14 is made to be communicated in the vicinity of the gas upstream side of a slag baffle 9. Thereby, the concentration of exhausted NOx is restrained under sufficient lower level, an unburnt carbon content and an unburnt toxic content are treated by oxidation, accordingly, the gas can be exhausted under safe and harmless condition.
