PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone type separator capable of being easily installed.SOLUTION: A cyclone type separator includes a separator body 4 where solid matter is separated while swirling a solid matter mixed liquid 2 inside and a separated liquid 3 is flown out to one side in an axial direction. A connection body 5 is disposed at the upper part of the separator body 4. The connection body 5 has an introduction passage 12 guiding the solid matter mixed liquid 2 from an inflow pipe into the separator body 4. The connection body 5 has a lead-out passage 13 guiding the separated liquid 3 from the separator body 4 to an outflow pipe. The introduction passage 12 has an inflow part 14 approximately parallel to the inflow pipe and an inflow detour part 15 guiding the solid matter mixed liquid 2 from the inflow part 14 to the inner peripheral surface of the separator body 4 in a tangential direction. The lead-out passage 13 has an outflow part 21 connected to the separator body 4 in an axial direction and an outflow detour part 22 guiding the separated liquid 3 from the outflow part 21 to the outflow pipe approximately parallel to the outflow pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
