Abstract:
To provide a cycloolefinic copolymer which is crosslinkable and capable of giving excellent properties in heat resistance, transparency, chemical resistance, solvent resistance, bonding and adhesion, its composite material, these erosslinked materials and optical materials using them.
The cycloolefinic copolymer obtained by addition polymerization of a cycloolefin having specific crosslinkable functional groups and other cycloolefins, providing the weight average molecular weight of 3,000-1,500,000, the composite material prepared by compounding this copolymer with a specific metal oxide, these crosslinked materials and the optical materials using them are obtained.
