PURPOSE: To make cylinder arrangement compact without requiring a transfer cylinder and a chain feed mechanism, by immediately transferring the paper sheet fed to the impression cylinder of a paper feed side printing unit to receive back surface two-color printing to the impression cylinder of a paper delivery side printing unit to subject the same to front surface two-color printing.

CONSTITUTION: Both a paper feed side printing unit A and a paper delivery side printing unit B are constituted of five-cylinder two-color printing units consisting of impression cylinders 1, 2, rubber cylinders 1a, 1b; 2a, 2b and plate cylinders 1c, 1d; 2c, 2d, and each of the impression cylinders has a diameter three times that of each of the rubber cylinders and plate cylinders. When the paper sheet gripped by the gripper of the impression cylinder 1 of the unit A is transferred to the gripper of the impression cylinder 2 of the unit B, the back printing surface of the paper sheet comes to face to the surface of the impression cylinder 2 at this time and two-color printing is applied to the front surface side of the aforementioned paper sheet in the unit B. By this method, perfecting two-color printing is performed.
