To provide a cylinder cushion structure whose performance is stabilized without raising the processing precision.
There are provided a cushion chamber 18 contracting as a piston rod 11 reaches an stroke end, and end flow path 21 for supplying and exhausting an operating oil into and from the cushion chamber 18, a free ring 13 mounted movably in an axial direction relating to the piston rod 11, a seat portion 17a for seating the free ring 13 to close the end passage 21, a cushion constriction portion 16 for linking the cushion chamber 18 and the end passage 21 with the free ring 13 seated in the seat portion 17a, and a return restriction portion 15a entering the end flow path 21 before the piston 11 reaches the stroke end. In this structure, by means of pressure difference between the front side and backside of the return constriction portion 15a, the free ring 13 moves precedently to the piston rod 11 toward the stroke end side to be seated in the seat portion 17a.
