Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder device which enables a basic length to be shortened.SOLUTION: An annular seal member which slides with a piston rod 14, a slide member 82 which is provided between the seal member and a piston 13 so as to slide in an axial direction in the cylinder 12, and a lubricant retaining chamber 83 which is defined between the slide member 82 and the seal member and encloses a lubricant L are provided between the piston 13 and a rod guide. A large diameter part 105 and a small diameter part 106 which is located closer to the piston 13 side than the large diameter part 105 when viewed in the axial direction and has a portion having a diameter smaller than the large diameter part 105 are formed in the piston rod 14. The annular seal part 101 which seals a space between the slide member 82 and the large diameter part 105 is provided at the inner periphery side of the slide member 82. An inner diameter of the annular seal part 101 is larger than the small diameter portion of the small diameter part 106.
