This cylinder device includes: a plate-like fixing housing, both the upper and lower surfaces of which are substantially parallel; a plate-like movable housing elastically supported at an adjustable predetermined distance between the end faces opposite to the fixed housing; and a vacuum suction means disposed between the opposite faces of both housings, wherein at least one housing side is provided with a fluid passage communicated with the vacuum suction means.
