Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder device capable of retaining the rigidity of a bracket without reducing an opening.SOLUTION: Around an opening 18 formed in a bracket 2 and in the vicinity of a first hole 13 in a circumferential one end part 10 of a cylindrical part 9, there is disposed a rib part 19 so that the generating part of the maximum of maximum principal stress and the generating part of the minimum of minimum principal stress can be deviated. Thus, the compression stress at a crack initiation portion of the bracket 2 can be drastically reduced, and the rigidity of the bracket 2 can be retained without reducing the opening 18.
