Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder device capable of improving fitting strength of a protective cover to a piston rod.SOLUTION: A cylinder device includes: a cylinder; a rod body 21 that has a large-diameter part 25 on the cylinder side extending from the cylinder in a telescopic manner, and a small-diameter part 26 on the opposite side to the cylinder; and a metal protective cover 14 that is attached to the innermost diameter part of a step part 27 formed by the large-diameter part 25 and the small-diameter part 26, and covers the rod body 21 and the cylinder. In the innermost diameter part of the protective cover 14, provided is a flat plate part 48 closely contacting with the step part 27. The flat plate part 48 is held in an axial direction between the step part 27 of the rod body 21 and an attachment member 22 attached to the small-diameter part 26 of the rod body 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
