Abstract:
To increase the mixing property of a jetted fuel with an intake air in all rotating areas in a cylinder fuel injection type internal combustion engine in which a fuel injection valve 12 for injecting fuel into a cylinder 2 is installed on the intake port 8 side of a cylinder head 3 closing the top part of the cylinder 2.
Fuel injection in a low rotating area is performed from a first fuel injection port 14 having a reduced downward injection angle θ1 relative to the axis 2a of the cylinder and a second fuel injection port 15 having an increased downward injection angle θ relative to the axis 2a, and the fuel injection in a high rotating area is performed from the second fuel injection port 15.
