Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow to maintain the orifice cross section area constant regardless of the fastening condition of a gasket, and regulate the amount and the pressure of the liquid at the desired value, in a cylinder head gasket furnishing the orifice function of a liquid passage, and the communicating function of a liquid passage opening.
SOLUTION: This cylinder head gasket consists of two sheets of metal plates 1 and 2, the metal plate 1 furnishes a fluid passage hole 50 with the form including both the fluid passage opening B3 of a cylinder bloak, and the fluid passage opening H3 of a cylinder head, and the metal plate 2 furnishes an orifice hole 5 facing the opening H3 of the cylinder head, and to throttle the flow rate of the liquid. A bead 10 is circularly provided in the position to surround the fluid passage hole 50 of either the metal plate 1 or the metal plate 2.
