Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine that can enhance tumble by controlling an air flow entering the interior of a cylinder from a suction port from being directed downward when a center line direction of the cylinder is set as a vertical direction.SOLUTION: A cylinder head 4 is formed with a suction port 10 having a valve seat 18. The valve seat 18 includes: a reduced diameter part 20 where an inner diameter φ0 is gradually reduced toward a downstream side of the suction port 10; a straight part 21 continuing to the reduced diameter part 20, where an inner diameter φ1 is extended toward the downstream side of the suction port 10 while maintained constant; and an enlarged diameter part 22 continuing to the straight part 21, where an inner diameter φ2 is gradually enlarged toward the downstream side of the suction port 10.
