Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure returning of oil to a crankshaft chamber through inexpensive practice as displacing extra thickness.
SOLUTION: This cylinder head is provided with a pair of first bearing bosses 36, 36 and a pair of second bearing bosses 37, 37 inside a rocker arm chamber 20a of the slanted overhead valve engine and a pivoting part 13a for respective rocker arms 13 (13a, 13b, 13c) is arranged between the first and the second bearing bosses 36, 37 and respectively supported with a shaft 38. The first bearing bosses 36, 36 are projectingly provided by mold forming them integrally with a bottom wall portion 18 positioned on the slanted upper side inside the rocker arm chamber 20 and second bearing bosses 37, 37 are projectingly provided by mold forming then integrally with the right and left bottom wall portions 24, 24 positioned on the slanted lower side inside the rocker arm chamber 20, and a slanted lubrication oil return groove 25 is formed between the right and left bottom wall portions 24, 24.
