Abstract:
PURPOSE: To support an idler mounting boss part easily and surely by forming a boss part for idler lubricating oil and a boss part for divergence lubricating oil in a cylinder head respectively so as to clamp an idler mounting boss part from both sides in the diameter direction and using these respective boss parts.
CONSTITUTION: In a unilateral cylinder head 12 in a V-engine, a unilateral idler lubricating oil boss part 104, in which a unilateral idler lubricating oil passage 108 supplying a lubricating oil to a shaft supporting part for a unilateral idler shaft around which a timing chain is wound, is formed so as to touch one side in the diameter direction of a unilateral idler mounting boss part, 46. In the unilateral cylinder head 12, a divergence lubricating oil boss part 106, in which a divergence lubricating oil passage 110 diverging from the lubricating oil passage 108 and supplying the lubricating oil to a shaft supporting part for an intermediate idler shaft is formed, is formed so as to touch the other side in the diameter direction of the idler mounting boss part 46. In this way, the unilateral idler mounting boss part 46 is clamped by the boss part 104 and the boss part 106, which are formed into wedge shapes.
