Abstract:
To provide a cylinder injection engine capable of reducing adhesion of an injection fuel to a wall surface of a cylinder bore.SOLUTION: A cylinder injection engine 31 includes a cylinder head 32c having a gasket surface 46 overlapped to a seat surface 44 of a cylinder block 32b and defining a combustion chamber 45 between the cylinder head and a piston 42 on a ceiling surface 47 gradually separating from a virtual plane PL including the gasket surface 46 toward a center, two intake ports 48 opened in parallel with each other on the ceiling surface 47 of the cylinder head 32c, and a fuel injection valve 72 disposed on the cylinder head 32c, and having an injection port 72a facing the combustion chamber 45 at a position sandwiched between the openings of the intake port 48 and the gasket surface 46. The intake port 48 is formed into the shape to laterally introduce air flow in the combustion chamber 45 along the virtual plane PL.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
