Abstract:
To compatibly materialize combustion stability and reduction of soot under a full open condition when ignition timing is retarded for raising exhaust gas temperature and reducing exhaust emission in cold start.
An injector is provided with a plurality of fuel passages having axial lines inclined against an operation axial line of a valve element at a nozzle tip. The inclined axial lines of at least three fuel passages in the fuel passages have expansion angles not to cross each other. Three injection points are formed on a surface perpendicular to the operation axial line of the valve element and form a triangle. At least one center oriented fuel passage having an injection point around a center of the triangle is provided.
