An abrasion resistant layer 3 is sprayed onto a support 2 by the arc spraying or the like, and a cover/connecting layer 5 is sprayed onto the abrasion resistant layer 3. In this method, the abrasion resistant layer 3 includes the hyper-eutectic aluminum silicon alloy, and the cover/connecting layer 5 includes the hypo-eutectic aluminum/silicon alloy. A fusing hindering layer 4 made of iron or the like can be provided between both the layers. The fusing hindering layer 4 has a melting point higher than both the aluminum/ silicon alloy, and hinders the fusing of the abrasion resistant layer 3 when casting a cylinder linear in a cylinder bore.
