To provide a cylinder liner eliminating the need for an assembly cylinder liner, in which lubricating oil is sufficiently spread in circumferential directions of the cylinder liner, the lubricating oil does not come out of a cylinder liner inner wall, the lubricating oil can be supplied in the cylinder liner when needed, and eliminating the need for any special processing.
In the cylinder liner, a thin groove 4 is formed in an inner face 5 of the cylinder liner opened to the inner face 5 and circumferentially extending along an inner face 5 of the cylinder liner, and an oiling bar 2 is formed toward the center of the cylinder liner so that a head part 24 of the oiling bar 2 is projected into the thin groove 4. The lubricating oil is discharged to the thin groove 4 through an oiling nozzle 26 opened at the head part 24 of the oiling bar. The oiling nozzle 26 is formed at the head part 24 of the oiling bar and is opened in the circumferential directions of the thin groove 4.
