Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder liner which can wholly reduce friction during sliding of a piston, which can secure proper fuel economy, and which can improve merchantability.SOLUTION: A cylinder liner 1 includes a first coating part 1a near top dead center during sliding of a piston 3, a third coating part 1c near bottom dead center, and a second coating part 1b between them. Coatings of the first and third coating parts 1a and 1c are configured to be higher in thermal conductivity than a coating of the second coating part 1b.
