Abstract:
PURPOSE: To give a new outline change to a basic lock type which can work in one direction by a new solution, in which a widely known guiding element is used, and at the same time, to improve the safety of a key.
CONSTITUTION: A cylinder lock-key combination is provided with a cylinder housing 1 and an inner cylinder 2, which can rotate around a stack of discs including several discs 3 and 4 for lock having peripheral notches 20 and a bar 10 for lock. The bar 10 inhibits rotation of the inner cylinder 2, with respect to the cylinder housing 1 at its locking position together with the discs 3 and 4 for lock. The discs 3 and 4 are made rotatable at the releasing position of a lock mechanism by a key 12. A guiding element 14 is provided in a key channel, which is formed together with the key openings 6 and 7 of the discs 3 and 4, extended in the longitudinal direction beyond the stack of discs, and arranged so that the channel is turned continuously by the key 12, when the key is turned in a lock.
