Title:
CYLINDER PRESSURE DETECTING DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3925090
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly detect cylinder pressure when cylinder pressure is lower than that at the time of an explosion stroke and avoid that a cylinder pressure detection means does not stand cylinder pressure at the time of the explosion stroke.
SOLUTION: A cylinder pressure sensor 60 for detecting cylinder pressure of an internal combustion engine 1 is arranged in the downstream of an intake valve 2 and a communicating passage 61 for communicating the cylinder pressure sensor 60 with the inside of a cylinder is interrupted by a communicating passage switch valve 62 at the time of at least the explosion stroke. At the time of an intake stroke, the communicating passage 61 is communicated to detect cylinder pressure at the time of the intake stroke.
