To provide a cylinder cover which reduces the weight of a cylinder and serves as a simple fixture mechanism.

A shaft is fitted in a tube and a cylinder cover so that the cylinder cover is fixed to the tube. The shaft is supported by a bracket at both ends so as to engage the cylinder with the bracket. Thus, the fixture of the cylinder cover to the tube and the engagement of the cylinder with the bracket are both realized by the shaft. A plurality of fastening plates are provided for a rod-side cylinder cover. The fastening plates are attached to the tube from the inner side thereof. The fastening plates and the rod-side cylinder cover are fixed to each other by bolts. A thread portion is provided in the fastening plate, and a piping means is attached in the thread portion. A hole is arranged in the rod-side cylinder cover so that the fluid from the piping means is made to pass through the hole.
