Abstract:
To provide a cylindrical battery having a suitable liquid-pouring property, and a battery pack formed by using the cylindrical batteries.
The cylindrical battery 100 includes an electrode 70 having a positive pole and a negative pole, and a cylindrical battery case 20 for housing the electrode 70 together with an electrolyte. A spiral recessed section 28 which is a non-contact recessed section brought into no contact with the side face 72 of the electrode 70 and is formed along the opposite face 27 is arranged on at least a part of a surface 27 facing to a side face 72 of the electrode housed in the case 20, which is an internal surface 26 of a cylinder section 22 forming the battery case 20.
