In this cylindrical bearing member 100, a plurality of oil reserving blind grooves 112 provided in the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 110, which is formed without a buss-like joint, are provided with a plurality of grooving projections HP1 in the peripheral surface of an end thereof, and a plurality of diameter enlarging slits HP2 are respectively formed by using a hollow die pin HP provided along the longitudinal direction of the pin and a diameter enlarging center pin EP to be inserted and drawn inside the hollow die pin HP.
