Title:
相互に方向付けられたねじ切り要素を備える円筒状構成部品およびその製造方法
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4741497
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
Before the second end is machined, the first end is fully screwed into a calibrator to make a guide mark. Preliminary tests allow the starting point for machining the second element to be defined as a function of the offset from the guide mark to achieve the required final position : The method involves (a) mounting the component in the mandrel of a turret; (b) machining a first threaded element at one end of the component; (c) reversing the component in the mandrel; (d) machining a second threaded element at the other end of the component, using a tool which moves relative to the frame according to a control program from a given position. Between stages (b) and (c) an orientation calibrator with a guide mark on its external periphery is screwed onto the first threaded element so its stopping shoulder butts against the first threaded element's shoulder; (f) a guide mark is traced onto the external periphery of the component aligned axially with the guide mark on the calibrator. During (c) the component is positioned so the orientation guide mark is placed relative to the mandrel in the same angular position as during (f). During (d), the starting position of the tool is defined after at least one preliminary assessment in which the stages (a), (b), (e), (f), (c) and (d) are followed by the following: (g) an identical or matching calibrator (depending whether the two threaded elements are both male, both female or one of each) is screwed onto the second threaded element until the shoulders meet, and (h) the angular offset between the two guide marks (Q) is measured. The new starting point of the tool is defined as an axial offset relative to the initial position by a quantity determined as a function of the direction and amplitude of the required eventual position. The axial offset of the start position includes a quantity C = P x (alpha +Q)/(2pi ) where P is the pitch of the thread and alpha is the value of the gap in radians. Alternatively, C = (P/pi ) x ((B/D)+(Q/2)) where B is the length of the circular arc extending, on a peripheral surface of diameter D, between its guide mark and the axial half plane containing the calibrator's guide mark, this arc extending over alpha radians. An independent claim is made for a string of tubular components as described above, where the offset between the guide marks of consecutive components do not exceed 10 deg., preferably 5 deg.
