PURPOSE: To provide cylindrical members which lend themselves to various applications using cylindrical housing constituting members alone or in combination with other members, by coupling a bottomless top cylinder whose end tapers with a bottomless base cylinder and providing a lid detachably on an upwardly facing opening at the top of the bottomless top cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: A bottomless top cylinder 1 is made of a rigid, lightweight reinforced plastics or synthetic resin, the end portion of its cylindrical wall tapers, an opening 101 is provided at its top facing upwardly and an outward rid 102 is formed all around the periphery of the opening. An annularly-shaped iron frame 7 is fixed on said rib and a concrete lid 3 is placed detachably thereon so as to be able to open and close the top cylinder. The base of the bottomless top cylinder 1 forms the cylinder wall of a larger diameter so as to be fitted over a bottomless base cylinder 2 to permit coupling therebetween and an annularly-shaped frame 8 for attaching an intermediate lid thereon is fixedly provided at an adequate height in the interior of top cylinder. The bottomless base cylinder 2 is formed of the same material as with the bottomless top cylinder 1 and has at its top an opening 201, all around whose periphery an inward rib edge 201 is formed to permit its stable coupling with the bottomless top cylinder 1.
