Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical jacket having strength not causing a break or damage when installing the cylindrical jacket onto a press roll.
SOLUTION: This cylindrical jacket 10 for the shoe press roll is used by bending both end parts in the radial inner direction. Positions in bending parts B of both the ends of the jacket 10, apart from the end edges 14, are formed with positioning holes 12 for fixing an installation position of the jacket 10, and hollowed holes 13 for absorbing a wrinkle of the bending parts B.
