Abstract:
To provide a cylindrical linear motor in which the overall length of a stator does not vary from product to product.SOLUTION: A cylindrical linear motor 1 includes a cylindrical stator S, and an armature 2 having a cylindrical core 3 and a winding 5 mounted in a slot 4 provided on the outer periphery of the core 3 and inserted into the inner periphery of the stator S so as to be movable in the axial direction, and the stator S includes an outer tube 7, a field 6 having a plurality of permanent magnets 10a, 10b housed in the outer tube 7 and laminated in the axial direction, and alternately arranged with N and S poles in the axial direction, a stopper 20 attached to the outer tube 7 and abutting against one end of the field 6 in the axial direction, retainers 21 and 31 that are screwed to the outer tube 7 and abut against the other axial end of the field 6, and head caps 15 and 32 connected to the outer tube 7 to determine the overall length of the stator S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
