Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a thermoplastic resin layer on the surface of a fixing roller and a fixing film highly precisely at a low cost by fixing a tubular member in the outside of a cylindrical article coated with a thermoplastic resin powder and firing the thermoplastic resin film by heating a supporting column member.
SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin powder or a solution in which a thermoplastic resin powder is dispersed is applied to a cylindrical article 3 of which at least either one of the inner circumference or the outer circumference is coated with the thermoplastic resin layer, especially a cylindrical article 3 supported by a column member 1 for manufacturing a tubular film. If necessary the solution is dried and removed and moreover a tubular material 2 is fitted in the outside of the article and then at least the column member 1 is heated to form a thermoplastic resin film on the outer circumference of the cylindrical article 3 by firing. Consequently, for a fixing apparatus to obtain an image with high quality, the cylindrical article 3 of which the outer circumference is coated with the thermoplastic resin layer is used as a fixing roller or a fixing film to fix a toner by pressing a toner image between the article 3 and an image carrying body.
