Title:
CYLINDRICAL ROLLING BEARING AND LUBRICATING DEVICE THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11280773
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To sufficiently secure an oil film thickness in the rolling surface even at high load time by arranging a lubricant outflow hole in a cylindrical roller so as to reach the rolling surface by branching off from a central hole opened on one end and sealed on the other end.

A cylindrical roller 11 has the opening part 31 on one end along the center line, has a central hole 33 sealed on the other end, and has a large number of pores opening in the peripheral part 35 of the cylindrical roller 11 by extending toward the periphery from the central hole 33 as a grease outflow hole 34. For example, this grease outflow hole 34 is arranged so as to extend toward four sides from the central hole 33. This cylindrical roller 11 is installed in a space between an inner ring 12 and an outer ring 13, and the cylindrical roller 11 revolves around the inner ring 12 while rotating itself so as to function as a bearing. In that case, a grease press-in means 21 engages with the opening part 31 so that grease is pressed in from here. Thus, since a lubricant is directly supplied to the rolling surface, an abrasion quantity of the constitutive material is sharply reduced to lengthen the service life.
