PURPOSE: To improve the productivity of cylindrical tubes for grinding and improve quality by constituting the cylindrical tube for grinding so as to have a spiral grinding part having diamond abrasive grains on the surface and carrying out the mechanical grinding work for an FRP tube.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical tube for grinding has a cylindrical tube 1A and a shape steel (spiral grinding part) 1B which is worked to a spiral form in conformity with the surface shape of the cylindrical tube 1A, and diamond sbrasive grains 1C are electrically deposited at the edge part of the shape steel 1B, and a revolution force is transmitted through a pulley 1E, etc., to a shaft 1D fixed on the cylindrical tube 1A. The diamond abrasive grain 1C in 45-60 mesh is used in the electrorodeposition on the spiral grinding part 1B, and three-six pieces are installed in an angle of 30-60° at the spiral grinding part 1B. Revolving an FRP tube which is supported in a rotatable manner on a traverse dolly, at a low speed around the axis center, grinding is carried out by pressing the cylindrical tube for grinding which is revolved in the reverse direction, onto the inner surface of the FRP tube.
