To provide a cylindrical vibrator which can have a great amplitude, can avoid the point to make the acceleration of the peak of the amplitude zero, can be prevented from being damaged and can eliminate the problem in terms of impact properties.
The cylindrical vibrator is provided with: a movable weight (4) which enters and leaves the internal diameter section of a cylindrical exciting coil (2) stored in a cylindrical case (1) through a cover member (3) for protecting the inner diameter of the coil (2) and is partly made of a magnetic material; elastic bodies (5 and 6) which support both ends of the movable weight and accept the movable weight before attaining the maximum amplitude when electric power is applied to the cylindrical exciting coil; a bracket (7) which is disposed in the aperture of the cylindrical case; and power feed terminals (7a and 7b) which are disposed at the bracket in order to apply the electric power to the cylindrical exciting coil.
