To enable the obtaining of a cylindrical woven fabric having ribs of high accuracy free from the disturbance in the fiber structure including rib fixing parts, the use of the ribs of various kinds of materials and shapes, and the obtaining of a cylindrical fiber-reinforced composite material having ribs of high strength.
Ribs 14 consisting of a face 18 along the outer shape of the cylindrical woven body 12, a leg part 22 having a part which is to be fixed with yarns wound in the peripheral direction of the cylindrical woven body 12 and a protruding part 16 formed continuously from the leg part 22 are placed on the outer side of a cylindrical woven body (cylindrical woven fabric) 12 which has been woven using ceramic yarns 10; and the ribs 14 are fixed by winding yarns 28 in the peripheral direction of the out side face of the rib- having cylindrical woven body.
