PURPOSE: To obtain a cylindrical fiber structure suitable as a reinforcing material of a composite material for manufacturing a part integrated with another member, having excellent tensile strength, compression strength, torsional strength and impact strength.
CONSTITUTION: This cylindrical fiber structure F comprises tapered parts 1 and 2 at both end parts. Yarns Ya in the shaft direction are arranged along the longer direction of the cylindrical fiber structure F to constitute yarn layers LYa in the axial direction. Spiral yarns Ys are arranged in a state inclining at about ±45° from the longer direction of the cylindrical fiber structure F to constitute spiral yarn layers LYs. Yarns Yθ in the peripheral direction are arranged along the peripheral direction of the cylindrical fiber structure F to constitute yarn layers Ly 8 in the peripheral direction. The yarn layers LYa, LYs and LYQ are laid in a state of a concentric circle. Through yarns Yd are passed through the yarn layers LYa, LYs and LYE in the radiated directions of the cylindrical fiber structure F, arranged so as to form loop parts Lp and to fold and are prevented from falling off by selvadge yarns Yp.
