Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the compound which is represented by a specific formula, has antitumor and antiviral functions, and is useful as a pharmaceutical composition.
CONSTITUTION: Kalahide F of the formula. The objective compound is conveniently obtained by isolation or the like from sacoglossan or Elysia-rafescence. The kalahide F is represented, for example, by the molecular formula: C75H124N14O16 and the fourteen low structures are formed from five valines, two isoleucines, two threonines, ornithine, dehydroaminobutyric acid, proline, phenylalanine and 5-methylhexanoic acid.
