Title:
D-GALACTOPYRANOSYLGLUCONIC ACID DERIVATIVE OF POLY-ALPHA-SUBSTITUTED EPSILON-L-LYSIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3691096
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject derivative for biological functional materials, etc., by amide bonding of α-amino group of L-lysin residue of a part or all of a poly(ε-L-lysin) with D-galactopyranosylgluconic acid, having good cell adhesion property and cell proliferation property.
CONSTITUTION: This D-galactopyranosylgluconic acid derivative of a poly-α substituted ε-L-lysin is obtained by dissolving a poly(ε-L-lysin) in 50mM N,N,N', N'-tetramethylethylenediamine(TEMED) buffer solution, adding D- galactopyranosylgluconic acid and 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide hydrochloride (EDC) thereto, reacting these components for three whole days and nights at room temperature, transferring the reaction solution to a dialyzing tube and carrying out dialysis to distilled water and lyophilizing the dialyzed material and subjecting α-amino group of L-lysin residue in a part or all of L-lysin residue of a poly(ε-L-lysin) expressed by the formula [(n) and (m) are integer of ≥1; (n)≥(M)] to amide bonding with D-galactopyranosyl gluconic acid.
