Abstract:
To suppress generation of arc discharge in a sub fuse and make a low-voltage sub fuse available.SOLUTION: A terminal T1 and a terminal T2 are applied with a high-voltage direct current of 380 V. A terminal T3 and a terminal T4 are connected with a load. When a short circuit accident or the like occurs and an excessive current flows, a main fuse MF is molten and cut firstly. At this time, a voltage of the terminal T3 is maintained at 380 V by a voltage of a capacitor C2 included in a main fuse arc suppression circuit 20. Therefore, even when the main fuse MF is molten and cut, no arc discharge is generated. Next, when a current flowing in a sub fuse SF increases and the sub fuse SF is molten and cut, a voltage of a capacitor C1 included in a sub fuse arc suppression circuit 10 becomes sufficiently low. Since a current flowing in a resistor R1 is applied to the capacitor C1 through a diode D2, a rapid rise in voltage at one end C of the sub fuse SF is suppressed, and no arc discharge is generated at the sub fuse SF.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
