Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dam construction eliminating submergence in a river main stream, capable of preserving functions such as navigation and water transport originally held with the river main stream as it is, and capable of giving rivalry to confrontation between the dam developing side and the river protecting side.
SOLUTION: A dam body 11 is built on a place getting out of a river main stream 1 such as the inflow port of a river branch stream 2 against the river main stream 1, and the river water of the main strean 1 is supplied and stored to the branch stream through a water conveyance passage 12 so as to create a reservoir 11. By leading a water drainage passage 13 to the upper stream side from the dam body 11 along the main stream 1, the distance between a water intake point and a water drainage point is shortened so as to prevent the flow therebetween from reducing or drying up.
