PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install dam flood discharge equipment with a large discharge capacity at a low cost in a short construction period by remodeling existing equipment.
SOLUTION: In this dam flood discharge equipment having a gate 2 installed at the top part of the bank 1 of a dam, the height of an existing band body 1 is lowered, an auxiliary gate 7 is added to the lower side of the existing gate 2, and an gate open/close area is increased to increase the discharge capacity without replacing the existing gate 2 with a large gate.
